Galle Development Foundation
The Galle Development Foundation registered under the social welfare act of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka and having it’s cooperate office in Waliwatta Galle. Also we try to provide the best thing for the Galle citizen. We always believe that community is the focal point of the development and should follow and integrated approach for that. With base of those fundamentals we implement many programs with the support of many funding sources. We follow an integrated approach to provide best and quality service to our beneficiaries.
Also we are fulfilled with skillful and great vision and we always dedicate to improve the living standard of the community. The organization creates exciting opportunities for our employees, beneficiaries and communities by growing intelligently and providing collaborative and creative environments. We have built an agile, responsive culture that focuses on our beneficiaries needs and provides customized solutions with certainty of delivery. Because of this quality we could provide best and most effective produce or service for our beneficiary. Even the institution tries to implement beneficiary focus program according to their requirements. Also we get the comments from the community when we finalize the programs or project and that is one of successive key of our program because grass root level community knows about their issues and they have common sense to solve that problem. Time constrain for each program
Galle Development Foundation is always time constrain to finish each and every program we implement. This is one of reason that we could make more programs in a short time and through that could provide many services to grass root level community. Even we never delay to complete our programs through that we could increase the trusty of donors and community. Our management and staff strictly follow this value at every time. The main thing is we work according to time frame and within that we manage and plan everything and we monitor it.

The Organization always considers conserving the environment and during the past we could implement many programs to protect the environment. We always dedicate to protect the environment in an unconditional way and we do everything to protect the environment. On the other hand the organization could implement many programs to conservation of Environment. Also we implement awareness programs to aware the community because our highest priority is protect environment.
Follow energy saving process
As a non government organization we dedicate to use minimum energy consumption during our programs or process. We never waste energy and we specially monitor about it. That is one of basic principal of organization. Even the company contributes to save national energy. Even we follow necessary steps to minimize energy consumption.

Diversity of ideas that collect by various organizations is the process to success. Before implement any kind of program gathers the ideas from various organizations or government authorities.
Energy Conservation
GDF is always try for conservation energy resources and tries to minimum the energy waste. On the other hand monitor about the energy consumption and tries to minimize the waste of it and highly concern about it.
Empowerment of Society
Tries to empower the grass root level community through various kinds of strategies and programs. Guide to the community about correct path for empowerment and guide them able to work with government institutes. On the other hand supports for them get the rural or village leadership and facilitate for it.
Our Case Studies
A List of Activities undertaken by Institution
The Galle Development Foundation has been implemented many programs with great achievements and success. The organization carried out many programs with the collaboration with government and private sector. The organization started begins of 2004. We followed effective process while we implementing programs and through that we could achieve many things. Our highest priority and our focal point was community based development and we implement various kinds of programs to achieve that target.
Most of programs we have implemented with the partnership of many government authorities and got the involvement of private sector too. One of key program that we implemented is donated self employment goods for the people and through this assistant most of people. Even the organization could implement many programs to develop and empower the grass root level community. Also we carried out many programs for the students and children of Galle.
